What is Adware?
Adware is a type of malicious programming that has been designed to monitor your computer activities and deliver advertising programs.

Adware software is able to automatically play video advertisements, display image advertisements, and even download advertisements to your computer. Adware violates your privacy and hijacks your computer’s functions for the commercial gain of others.
// How is Adware spread?
Adware is usually downloaded with other software that the user intentionally sought to obtain. In other words, you will download a file or program that you wanted, and get an Adware infection as an unintended surprise.
// Where does Adware reside?
Adware resides in your computer’s active memory.
// Which features does Adware exploit?
Adware offers itself to you disguised as a gift, thus enticing you to download the adware software and give it permission to enter your computer. In some cases adware is presented as a Search Tool. In other cases it is completely disguised as a game or other piece of desirable software.
