But what is the true cost of free software?
Malicious programs are a threat for every computer user. These programs threaten to cripple your operating system and steal your personal information. If left to operate undetected, malicious programs can have the following costs:
- Lost efficiency. How much time do you spend working with your computer and how much time would be lost if your computer became slow and sluggish?
